Meet the newest Heithaus

Robert Norman Heithaus entered the world on October 22, 2012 at 3:55pm.  He weighted 7lbs 4oz and was 20" long.  I might be biased, but I'm pretty sure he's the most beautiful baby in the world.  Here are several pictures so see for yourself.

Just a few minutes old being held by his mommy

He has big blue eyes

Only a few minutes old laying on his mommy before his first meal

Happy swaddled baby

Touchdown! He loves sleeping with his hands by his face

In his car seat heading home

Look at those little feet - so precious

Catching Up

So its been a while... yes, 6 months.  Were gonna skip to about 8 weeks ago when we got the best news ever... Baby!

8 Week Ultrasound

12 Week Ultrasound - its crazy how quickly he (or she) is growing

I got a new fun camera (Canon t3i) and have been having a ton of fun with it (2000 pics in 3 weeks)
View from our apartment

A few weeks ago we took a trip to Victoria Canada.
Here we are enjoying the 3 hour boat ride there.  It was a lot of fun and an awesome way to start our vacation.

Victoria is a really cool city on the water.  There is a ton of history there and it feels like your in Europe.

Here we are Butchart Gardens - its a pretty beautiful place.  A guy had a limestone quary and his wife decided to fill in the hole left by the quary with flowers.  She brought flowers from all over the world and made an incredible garden - its one of the natural wonders of Canada.

We walked 6 canadian blocks (about 2 miles) to this castle.  It was really cool with amazing architecture including beautiful wood fireplaces with staindglass windows.

And I definitley can't share a blog without a picture of our little boy.

So thats it for right now.  We just went hiking last weekend so I'll be putting up that in the next few days.  We also find out (hopefully) the gender of our baby tomorrow so we're very excited!

It begins...

Hey,

It's been a great 2 months (can't believe its been 2 months) in Seattle and we are really enjoying ourselves.  Here is a quick recap of the last 2 months:

View from my corporate housing

View from our new apartment

Sunset at the park down the street

Lauren's dad came for a visit...
At the original Starbucks

At the space needle
On the drive to Mount Ranier (we never made it - we kind of got lost)

But we found our Christmas Tree

And got some really good pictures from the side of the road

Then we got a new Chevy!

So that's it... 2 months in Seattle in a few pictures.

Merry Christmas!
